General Procurement Notice – Repair and reconstruction of damaged critical infrastructure II

European Union has provided grant funds to rehabilitate war damaged district heating and water and wastewater infrastructure in the following communities in Ukraine: Chernihiv, Nizhyn, Okhtyrka, Trostianets and Pervomaisk. Together with respective utilities the communities are planning to announce competitive tendering for the works, goods and services defined and financed under the EU Programme “Repair and reconstruction of damaged critical infrastructure II”.

The project aims to address the repair needs of critical district heating and water supply systems, pumping stations, and wastewater treatment plants. It is expected that approximately EUR 22.5 million will be spent to finance several contracts of various size, most in the range between EUR 2.5 and 4.5 million, commencing in the fourth quarter of 2024. Works are expected to be completed by September 2025.

Specific invitations for tenders for contracts will be announced as they become available.
