Trond Moe’s term as Nefco’s Managing Director extended until May 2031

Nefco’s Board of Directors has prolonged the appointment of Trond Moe as Managing Director for another six-year term until the end of May 2031. He assumed the role of Managing Director in June 2019.

“The Board of Directors highly appreciates the contributions Trond Moe has made to Nefco. We can see that Nefco is benefitting from his solid background in finance, growth strategies and transforming organisational cultures. In  a time of turmoil and planetary crisis, the value of steady, visionary leadership and long-term goals cannot be overstated. We are glad that he agreed to continue in this role until 2031,” says Erik Kiesow, Chair of Nefco’s Board of Directors.

Trond Moe emphasises Nefco’s pivotal position in accelerating the green transition.

“The journey with Nefco has been profoundly rewarding. The need for green financing is more important than ever, and as the Nordic Green Bank, Nefco has a responsibility to take a lead role in the transition. However, the true honour lies in working alongside our highly skilled and committed staff. Their expertise and dedication are the cornerstones of our success, proving that even the most adept leader is only as strong as his or her team.”

Trond Moe assumed the role of Nefco’s Managing Director in June 2019, after joining Nefco in early 2018 as Head of Investment Operations. The Managing Director of Nefco is appointed by the Board of Directors for a term of up to six years at a time.
