The International Vienna Energy and Climate Forum is a platform to showcase solutions that best support climate action and sustainable development implemented by Governments, private sector, academia and various stakeholders from around the world. This year, the Forum focuses on solutions addressing challenges in Africa.
Ash Sharma, Head of the Modern Cooking Facility for Africa, will be moderating the session on “Financing for Innovative Clean Cooking Solutions” on 2 November. The session, which will be also be live-streamed, will highlight innovative financing mechanisms in the clean cooking sector and the importance of carbon financing in the clean cooking. This discussion will be part of the side event “Catalysing Sustainable Development Goals through Clean Cooking Solutions”, organised by UNIDO/CECC, OPEC FUND, SEforAll, GIZ and Clean Cooking Alliance.
The event will take place in the Forum room and will also be live-streamed through United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) Youtube channel
